With the newest 10.2' iPad 7th gen released in March 2020, Apple now has released a total of 21 different iPads, and its getting harder to keep them straight. So this user tip is aimed at maintaining a list divided by sub line, that includes screen size, CPU, release year, discontinuation date and iOS / iPad OS versions they can run now.
Apple's standard iPad size comes in at around 10 inches by 7 inches in terms of physical size, with only the screen sizes varying between the three tiers — the entry-level iPad has a 10.2-inch screen, the iPad Air bumps that up to 10.5 inches, and the iPad Pro goes all the way up to 11. I purchased the iPad Pro the day it was released because they said Photoshop would be available the first part of 2019. It is now past the first quarter of 2019 and Adobe hasn't even made an update announcement to its consumers! The ONLY reason why I spent $3000 on an iPad is for Photoshop! I use photoshop.
